Local 340 Electing President: Vote by July 9th

6/24/08 -- Local 340 is currently holding an election for President of the Local.

At a recent nomination meeting, the positions of Vice President and Recording Secretary were filled when both candidates ran unopposed and both were therefore elected by acclimation. Congratulations to Steven Blecher (Barney's), who will serve as Vice President and Drew Stuart (Jos A Bank), who will serve as Recording Secretary.

Gerald Fitzgerald and Anibal Jesus are running for President. Members should have received their secret ballot in the mail. If you believe you are eligible to vote and have not received a ballot, please call the Ballot Hotline at 1-800-529-5218 (Mon-Friday, 9am - 5pm).

IMPORTANT: Please note that ballots must reach the American Arbitration Association no later than July 9th at 9am!! Ballots will be counted the same day at 10am.
