Barneys clerical unit negotiations—Updates

Update #1: Active negotiations on hold pending other Barneys negotiations

Local 340's contract with the clerical unit at Barneys has been extended to April 30, 2007. The original expiration date was March 31, and union and management negotiators agreed to extend it and put active negotiations on hold while negotiations at the Barneys distribution center are ongoing.

The union's negotiating team includes Carolyn Alexander, Jeffrey Evans, Geraldine Johnston and Gary Schrauger, Local 340 members in the clerical unit, as well as Local 340 officers.
